Where can I upload and share my Files

SiteMarker has a fully built-out document storage area!

SiteMarker allows it's users to upload several different files into the Files tab, assuming you have the correct permissions level to do so.

To get to the Files page go to the Project Dashboard and look at the top bar for "Files"

Archiving allows you to delete the item from files without actually deleting it. Archive mode can be toggled on and off which would then show the archived items.

Edit lets you change the name and description of the file

View enters you into the preview mode you can also get into by double-clicking on the file

Move:

This mode pops up a view with the folder options. The down carrot key indicated that there are more folders within that folder. You can click on the folder you want to move a file into.

Moving Files

Delete:

This deletes your file from the system for good, so make sure you mean to delete and not archive!

Share:

This screen allows you to share a file or folder with someone on the project, or make it public so you can send it to whomever.

Sharing

The top bar "Public link" lets you hit copy and send a link to that specific file for people who might not be in the project. These people will only be able to see the contents of the folder/file and nothing else in the project or workspace.

You will also see Printable QRCode at the top, which lets you link directly to the public link so everyone can scan the code and see your files. More info here

If you have other members in your project they will be displayed and you can click on their account to send them the file. It will send them a link by email to view the file in a browser.

Permanent File Folders:

We have added two folders that will be on every project you create, to help you keep everything tidy and quickly able to download in bulk.

The following 2 folders are the ones you see below:

Perm Folders

Pin Files:

This holds all of the photos taken on pins, which allows for easy download and extraction

Reports:

This will hold all PDFs of the reports you have generated on a project, broken up into Project types or All Reports. If you would like to you can still share this folder so users can view all of your reports on an self updating link
