What is on the Maps dashboard

Here we will go through everything that is possible on the Maps area

When you open up a newly started project and navigate to Maps the screen will look like this:

Going through this map number by number we will start at the Pins and Layers section:

1.

Clicking on Pins will show you all the pins you have dropped on a site. Due to this being a new project, you will not see any until you start dropping pins. You can drop pins on Mobile and Web.

Layers will show all of the layers you have added to the project. Here you can edit and archive your layers

2.

Here you have the Map Layers Dropdown where you can easily see all of the added layers, toggle them on/off, change opacity, and edit your layers.

3.

Exporting and Pin Dropping is stored here:

  • Exporting pins: After filtering down a map to show what pins are displayed, clicking export pops up multiple options for how to export your pins. See more here
  • Dropping pins: This button pops up the same pin dropping view as you would typically see on mobile. Note, you choose on the map where you want to drop the pin versus dropping by location. See a video on how to drop pins here

4.

Different base maps are available for map viewing. You can choose between Street View, Satellite, and 3D view. Maneuvering around the map is standard keys for browser maps.

5.

This area lets you zoom in and out of the map as well as adjust the direction the map is facing with the compass.
